Ensuring Business is Verified
Business who have been verified will be placed into @Verified Businesses.
If a business is not in this group, then they are not a verified business. Please proceed with extreme caution when interacting with them.
Verification Requirements
To ensure user protection, all businesses wishing to deliver quotes or offer their services on the forum, must first undergo a verification process. Verification requires submitting one form of personal identification and one form of business identification.
Acceptable forms of personal identification include:
- Government issued ID.
- Credit card (you can cover the numbers).
- Mail with your name/address on it (return address must be visible).
Acceptable forms of business identification:
- Articles of Organization for business.
- Business credit card (you can cover the numbers), must have your name on it too.
- Mail with business name and your name (return address must be visible).
- Business email address for known manufacturer (you will have to send an email).
Contractors who are not citizens, please contact @Spacebar. We may allow you in, but you will be required to disclose your business insurance status to members.
To complete the verification, please provide a photo of the identification document alongside a handwritten note with the current date and your forum username.

Message: Hello, my name is [Your Name], and I'm with [Company Name]. I would like to become a verified business on the forum. I will verify my role at the company by providing [Business Identification Document] and [Personal Identification Document]. Here is a photo of both pieces of documentation, next to a timestamp of today's date, and my forum username, which is written on paper.
